Freelancer Lua Scripting

Goals: The primary goal of the project was to reverse-engineer and develop a guide to the lua scripting engine present in the 2003 space-shooter game Freelancer.
Outcome: Functions for the generation of randomized fields and simple structures in real-time cutscenes were developed along with functions to simplify the use of Euler matrices in scripts. A number of simple scripted example templates with animation and annotation have been produced and can be found here.
